while searching the miller welding company site i ran across a long winded discussion about tube benders and their dies. everyone seem to agree that the machines were easy to build but the dies were very pricey. i wanted to offer this bit of info: last spring or the one before that i attended a farm machinery fair in colusa ca. there was there a salesmen from a company in the midwest that offered a tube/pipe bender. in addition the company offered their dies or information on how to build your own shop made dies. basically , the home made dies were constructed from bits of metal and a hard but easily machined resin. instruction was offered in the construction technique and the resin was for sale. alas i can not remember the name of the company. fore give me, im old. maybe one of you young fellows can help the rest of us out by locating the company. goin back to work now: hombre
