I made this dolly to make wireing a edge on flat parts faster and you don't need any visegrips to hold the wire in. Easy to make and it's just cold rool steel.

Made from an old set of wiss shears. They work better than the vise grips,less effort to use.

after hammering the edge over by hand tighten the edge with the planishing hammer

put the 1\8 wire in the channel, hold the wire in with the dolly and hammer the edge tight next to the dolly [no vice grips needed]

with the other side of the wire edge dolly hammer the edge over aganst the top of the dolly that leaves a 1/8 U to slip the the wire into.

I made this planishing hammer die to tighten a wired edge it's faster than my beader die and quicker to set up than my nibbler die [works as well as either]
